A “must have” for any holiday gathering is rolls. Why bother with pre-made rolls that are full of preservatives when you can make fresh homemade French rolls in just a little over an hour?
For me, bread is the best part of any meal. I’ve been practicing for years how to make loaves of whole grain bread and French baguettes. Recently, I attended a French Rolls class at Le Pain Quotidien in Newport Beach where I learned how easy it is to make French rolls. What I found out is that Fench rolls really aren’t that hard to make and they taste so much better than any store bought brand. Some added benefits: the house smells divine when the French rolls are baking and guests are really impressed. Heck, you’ll be impressed when you see how easy it is.
