I am off to BlogWorld Expo, the world’s largest social media event. Located this weekend at the Los Angeles Convention Center, there will be over 275 speakers conducting three days of workshops and seminars devoted to making the most of social media opportunities. I am attending this expo so that I can expand my knowledge about blogging and then use this knowledge to improve and keep my blog current and relevant for you, my devoted reader. I am especially looking forward to perusing the gigantic trade show floor, meeting possible vendors and partners for my blog as well as coming home with lots of cool swag. Also, I will get the chance to meet lots of cool people who are involved, like me, in the blogging and social media world. Needless to say, I am very excited and will be anxious to share with you, devoted reader, what I see and hear and experience. I love learning new things and I am sure that there will be lots for me to learn at BlogWorld Expo 2011 Los Angeles.
The only thing I am NOT looking forward to is the drive. Fifty five miles of trudging along on Los Angeles freeways. It has been a million years since I have driven in early morning, rush hour traffic. Oh well. A sacrifice I am willing to make in order to be a part of this grand event.
While I am gone, please take the opportunity to spend a few minutes gazing at this beautiful fall foliage. What do you smell? What do you hear? Where might this road be taking you?
Just close your eyes and dream…….
