Not Chicken Pate
1/2 cup raw sunflower seeds
1/4 cup raw almonds
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1-1/2 tablespoons minced celery
1 tablespoon minced red onion
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
Soak sunflower seeds and almonds for 8 hours. Drain. Place soaked nuts with rest of the ingredients in a food processor fitted with an S blade and process into a paste. Stop occasionally to scrape down the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula. Wash and core a red pepper and fill with pate or serve with baked crackers. Not Tuna Pate can be stored in an airtight container for up to 5 days in the fridge or up to 3 months in the freezer.
